About Wade Amos

I grew up in East Wilton, Maine. East Wilton is in the foothills of the western mountains of Maine. (For the skiers, halfway between Sugarloaf and Sunday River.) My Mom and much of our family still live there today.

I graduated from Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, Maine. After graduation, I went to the University of Maine in Orono, where I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. After a year of process development work at the University of Maine, I attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where I got my Masters in Environmental Engineering. I also studied biochemistry and bioprocess engineering at the University of Colorado in Boulder. (I was surprised how many people from Maine have lived in Colorado at one point or another.)

I now live in Newburyport, Massachusetts, with my girlfriend Jenny and our two mini-goldendoodles Lexie and Willow.
